Position: Executive Coordinator
The Committee for Asian women (CAW) which is an Asia regional women workers NGO based in Bangkok undertakes projects and programmes for women workers in the fields of advocacy and campaigns, education and training, research and organising.
CAW wishes to announce that the position of CAW Executive Coordinator (EC) will be vacant by January 1, 2011. We seek applications for this most from qualified applicants who can demonstrate the following qualities:
- Experience in the development of women workers solidarity and movement in Asia
- Extensive background in organising advocacies on labour, trade and gender issues
- Proven leadership at the regional and grassroots levels
CAW is receiving applications for the position which shall be shortlisted in October and shortlisted applicants will be interviewed in November. The closing date for the application is 31st September 2010.
