CAW celebrated International Women’s Day together with the member, network, women human rights groups and women workers from Asia in Chiang Mai on March 8, 2010. (the picture below)

ITF-Thai, SERC and other women groups marched from King Rama V monument to the Government House on the day of March 8 the International Women’s Day. (the pictures below)

Karmojibi Nari, a member of CAW from Bangladesh organsed a rally with the slogan ‘recognition and equal rights for women in a world free from discrimination, exploitation and violence’ at Muktangan in the city. KN together with the allince of 45 other orgnisations with the cooperation of the Government also organised a colourful women workers rally to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the ‘International Women’s Day’. This colourful procession paraded through different city streets and areas with a demand to recognise the contribution of women and their dignity in their workplaces.
