Australian workers response to the global financial crisis

All workers face the capitalist crisis together

Every day, all around the world, working class people die from malnutrition, lack of health care, industrial accidents and work-related diseases. Every day workers sacrifice their lives to make capitalists richer.

Capitalism requires the economy to always grow. But that can’t be. So the economy crashes. Workers lose their jobs, wages & conditions, pensions & houses.

Capitalist companies and their governments across the world are trying to escape this crisis through taxpayer-funded bailouts.

So capitalists are taking our money, banks are taking our houses, and companies are trying to save profits by sacrificing our jobs.

But we can resist and defeat them.

Together we have power. Our strength is international industrial action & solidarity.

Support every strike. Defend every picket.

Support every workplace occupation.

No wage cuts, no sackings.

No cuts to safety, no workplace closures.

Guaranteed pensions and social security.

No home evictions, no home repossessions.
